Clubs and Organizations

  • Join Archery Club and aim for fun! Archery helps students build focus, patience, confidence, and teamwork while learning exciting new skills in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you are a beginner or already love archery, come take your best shot!

  • Join Art Club and let your creativity shine! Students will explore different art techniques, create fun projects, and express their imaginations in exciting new ways. If you love drawing, painting, crafting, and creating, Art Club is the perfect place to make masterpieces and new friends!

  • EL Exit Club is a special club for students who have successfully exited the EL program! By invitation only, this club celebrates student success while continuing to build leadership, confidence, friendships, and school connections. Members will enjoy fun activities, encouragement, and opportunities to shine as role models for others.

    Join Fantasy Playhouse Drama Club and step into the spotlight! Students will build confidence, creativity, and teamwork through acting, storytelling, games, and performance activities. Whether you love being on stage or want to try something new, Drama Club is a fun place to let your imagination come to life!

  • Join GEMS Club and discover the power of creativity, teamwork, and leadership! GEMS is a fun place to make new friends, build confidence, explore exciting activities, and shine both in and out of the classroom.  

  • Join the Greenpower Racing Team and get ready to race into STEM fun! Students will work together to explore engineering, teamwork, problem-solving, and design while learning about electric-powered race cars. If you love building, creating, and thinking like an engineer, this club is for you!

  • The Hornets’ Nest is our school morning show. It is designed to give the daily announcements so that our students, faculty and staff are fully aware of the school's daily events. This club is open to only fifth graders and is limited to 10 members. Students must complete an application (please see your teacher to get an application), have two teacher recommendations, and an interview with Mrs. Cook. Students will be assigned one morning a week to report for duty. Students will complete tasks such as taking pictures, creating video footage, writing daily announcements, delivering morning announcements to the school and interviewing students and faculty. A character contract must be signed and followed through in order to be part of this club. Please contact Mrs. Cook for more information.

  • Join Kindness Club and help make our school a brighter place! Students will work together to spread kindness, encourage others, and make a positive difference through fun activities and service projects. Small acts of kindness can make a BIG impact!

    Join LEGO Club and let your imagination build something amazing! Students will work together to design, create, problem-solve, and explore exciting building challenges using LEGO bricks. It’s the perfect club for creative thinkers, future engineers, and anyone who loves to build and have fun!

  • Madison Grows consists of fourth grade students that spend time caring for the gardens in our outdoor classroom. We meet at 7:10 on Friday mornings throughout the fall and spring seasons. Activities include weeding flower beds, filling bird feeders, planting annual flowers and vegetables, mulching beds and more. To help purchase the flowers and vegetables the students plant, a $10 donation will be requested. Please email Mrs. Woodard with questions or for additional information.

    I am Cori Quickel the Coach for Madison Elementary's Math Team Hornets!

    A large part of Math Team this year will be attending math competitions across the state!    

    Math team participants will meet 1-2 times a month (depending on competition schedule) and will practice  the assessment styles given as well as work on fun math challenges to grow our brains! 

    Students will meet from 2:45-3:45 in my classroom, room 26 on Fridays.

    Students must be in 4th or 5th grade, have a love for math, a competitive drive and a desire to learn more to join the team!  

    Due to the nature of competitions we will only be accepting 12 participants. Student selection is done by lottery this year and selections will be made the week of October 28th.

    Join Music Club and make some noise in the best way! Students will explore music through singing, rhythm, movement, games, and fun performances while building confidence and teamwork. If you love music and enjoy having fun with friends, Music Club is the place to be!

  • Our Peer Helpers program is a comprehensive, prevention and support program that partners with schools to promote the mental health of our youth, and teach them to advocate for one another.

    There is not an application. Peer Helpers is by teacher recommendation only.

    Join Student 2 Student Club and help make everyone feel welcome at our school! S2S members are kind leaders who help new students make friends, learn about the school, and feel like they belong. If you enjoy helping others, showing kindness, and being a positive role model, this club is for you!

  • Join Student Council and help make our school even more amazing! Student Council is a fun way to share ideas, show leadership, work as a team, and help plan exciting activities for our school. If you like helping others, being a role model, and making a difference, Student Council is the perfect place for you!

  • Join Talking Hands ASL Club and learn to communicate in a whole new way! Students will explore American Sign Language through fun activities, games, and conversations while learning about Deaf culture and the importance of inclusion and kindness. Come discover how hands can speak volumes!

    • The MES Yearbook Staff consists of fifth grade students. These students collaborate to design the Madison Elementary School book of memories. The Yearbook Staff is sponsored by Mrs. Emily McCluskey. The club meets every other Thursday afternoon.
